Profile
I am a researcher of animal behaviour based in Tokyo. I have been interested in animals since my childhood, and I found that being a researcher is a good choice to fulfill my interest. I started my academic training to be a field primate researcher. Later, I broadened my interests to include a wide range of species — such as other mammals, birds, and fish — as well as diverse methodologies. Through collaborations with graduate students and researchers, I have explored various scientific questions across these fields. Since 2007, I have served as a faculty member at the Center for Integrative Evolutionary Science (RCIES), SOKENDAI.
