The Center for Integrative Evolutionary Science accepts graduate students enrolled in the Integrative Evolutionary Science Program at SOKENDAI (The Graduate University for Advanced Studies, SOKENDAI), a national university corporation, to work together on evolutionary science research. The distinctive feature of SOKENDAI lies in its nurturing of researchers at world-class research institutions. In the Integrative Evolutionary Science Program, basically all graduate students are employed as Research Assistants (RAs). (They receive an annual stipend of up to 536,000 JPY and can continue as RAs even if they are selected for JSPS DC1 or DC2 fellowships).
