2024.Jan.17	Dr. Yasu Furukawa, will appear on TV show, "The Profiler" and give a talk about Ms. Umeko Tsuda, who was one of the pioneers of Japanese women's education and founded Tsuda University. She will become the face of the new ¥5000 bill this July. (Jan. 25, NHK BS 21:00-22:00, in Japanese)

2023.Dec.8	Dr. Mieko Kono, RCIES research scientist, will give a lecture on "The tripartite symbiosis which led the adaptation of Cladonia vulcani Savicz to an extreme environment" in the joint symposium on "Symbiosis, parasitism, and the tripartite relationship over photosynthesis” held by KYOUSEI Science Center & Research center for Kii-peninsula, on Dec. 9th, 2023.
